Description

The IC virtual meeting (VM02), was organized to review a draft Implementation Plan for the Guide for Establishing and Maintaining Pest Free Areas. The main objective was to discuss on how to increase the uptake of the existing IPPC Guides and training materials through enhanced communication and promotion to assist Contracting Parties to implement the Convention, International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) and CPM Recommendations. This draft Implementation plan must serve as a Template to develop the other Implementation plans agreed by the IC.
