The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is soliciting discussion papers in preparation for the meeting of the Expert Working Group (EWG) on the Revision of ISPM 8 (Determination of pest status in an area) (2009-005) which will take place from 18 to 22 September 2017 in Hanoi, Viet Nam.

The EWG will develop a draft standard according to Specification 59 on the Revision of ISPM 8 (Determination of pest status in an area) (https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/2369/).

IPPC contracting parties and other interested parties are invited to submit discussion papers by 07 August 2017 to the IPPC Secretariat ([email protected]) for the EWG to consider. Thank you for your kind cooperation.
