The IPPC Guide on Pest Status is meant to support the implementation of the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) 8 Determination of pest status in an area. ISPM 8 is currently in the final stages of revision and is expected to go for the second consultation on 1 July 2019 (Specification 59).
