SC November agenda posted!

The next Standards Committee (SC) 2016 November meeting will be held on 14-18 November 2016 at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The provisional agenda has also been posted in the SC restricted area: https://www.ippc.int/en/work-area-pages/standards-committee-sc/2016-sc-meetings/2016-november-sc/. To access the document, national plant protection organizations (NPPOs) and regional plant protection organizations (RPPOs) contact points need to first log in to the IPP.

The draft ISPMs that will be presented to the SC at their 2016 November meeting will be posted in the SC restricted area (https://www.ippc.int/en/work-area-pages/standards-committee-sc/2016-sc-meetings/2016-november-sc/) by 28 October 2016. They will be available for NPPOs and RPPOs contact points to download.

Compiled comments from the consultation periods on draft ISPMs will be posted publicly on the IPP (at https://www.ippc.int/en/core-activities/standards-setting/draft-ispms/) after the consultations are closed (closing date is 30 September 2016).

According to the Rules of procedures for the SC, contracting parties and RPPOs can request to send one observer to attend the SC meeting. The request should be sent by the official IPPC contact point 30 days prior the meeting ([email protected]). For the SC 2016 November meeting the deadline is 14 October 2016. Please note however that the IPPC Secretariat is not able to provide travel funding assistance for observers to SC meetings.
